There’s a lot to talk about Christmas from the coolest weather, to delicious meals, gifts, and the special time you spend with friends and loved ones. Indeed, Christmas is the best season anyone can experience.
It saddens my heart to know that many people today do not even know the meaning and reason for the celebration of Christmas. They think it’s just for fun, hangouts—no. Christmas is one of the most important and celebrated Christian holidays of the year.

Christmas is an annual Christin festival celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ which is always held on the 25th of December every year. Christmas is a time of spending reflections on the most important foundations of the Christian faith.
Biblically, I’ll say Christmas is a time when Christians celebrate God’s love for the world through the birth of Jesus Christ. Many people can tell you the origin of the Christmas celebration but I’ll tell you the little I know about Christmas.
Why Christmas?
Christmas is celebrated to remember the birth of Jesus Christ, who Christians believe is the son of God. The name Christmas comes from the Mass of Christ – a mass Service where Christians remember that Jesus died for them and then came back to life.
The Christmas service was allowed to take place after sunset and before sunrise the next day. So, people had It at midnight. Christmas is now celebrated by people around the world, whether they are Christians or not.
It is a time when family and friends come together and remember the good things they have and what the Lord has done for them.
Christmas—A Time Of Love
The true meaning of Christmas is a time phrase that began to appear in the mid 19th century when a shift towards a more secular culture resulted in a national backlash. Christians began to see the need for the celebration of the birth of Christ as the shift towards Santa Claus and gift exchange replaced the celebration of the Advent of Christ and giving to the poor and needy without expecting a return.
The Real Christmas Date
Is there a real Christmas date, I heard people talking about that?
No, I mean I don’t know. No date was given in the scriptures (Bible), all I know is that Christians placed the celebration to be on every 25th of December because it’s almost the end of the year to be thankful for what the Lord has done.
Christmas truly is one of the most wonderful times of the year.
